Chapter 18 Investing Fundamentals – We learned about some common mistakes made by beginning investors. We discovered why it’s a bad idea to borrow to invest or taking too much risk when investing. Then we looked at the benefits of diversifying your investments. We learned about some common financial scams such as Ponzi schemes, debt collection schemes, fake check overpayment fraud, as well as others.

We will look at fixed rate mortgages and discuss the costs and benefits. We will find costs for several hypothetical situations.
