Andrew and I reviewed his current rough draft of Brown v. Board of Education essay. We reviewed the sources that Andrew identified, discussed strategies for including content from sources, and strategies to avoid accidental plagiarism. We discussed primary and secondary source information.
Andrew and I reviewed his progress in U.S. Government so far and discussed the learning styles and assignments he feels most comfortable with. We reviewed content he recently covered, and discussed his progress on a recent essay assignment.
Today we looked at advertisements for candidates and compared the focus of each party. Jackson answered questions from the text and began working on Assignment 2.

Today, Philip began reading Ch. 2. We discussed the physical resources like mountains and bodies of water that allowed some early civilizations to flourish.

Today we read Ch. 11 and talked about the Cabinet and the Exec. Office of the President. We also watched a video that showed the scope of white house staff members' duties including the Press Secretary.
