Today, Andrew did online research for Assignment 3 Essay. We also reviewed MLA and APA formatting.

We continued discussing important parts of the Executive branch.

Today, Andrew started research on his Assignment 3. We read information in the textbook and discussed the two sides of the issue.

Today, we talked about the levels of courts and aspects of trial by Jury. Andrew gave great reasoning when discussing these topics.

We looked at the key terms and ideas for Ch. 12 including local government recalls and elections.

We continued Ch. 11 and learned about the budgets of each of the main departments in the executive branch. Andrew completed an in-class activity on Civic Participation.

We discussed some government agencies and jobs in the executive branch. Andrew completed his Assignment.

Today Andrew worked on an in-class assignment creating an Infographic depicting the pros and cons of being President of the United States.

Today we watched a video of President Bush's State of the Union from shortly after the 9/11 attacks. We compared and contrasted President Biden's reactions to the recent events in Israel. We discussed the pros and cons of sharing certain information and what can be done to mitigate fear by the government.
