Teddy didn't want to go outside, so we worked on finishing his creative writing story about a Haunted house.
We viewed a short video about the digestive system. We discussed the various parts of the digestive system. Libby created a visual of the digestive system and labeled the various sections.
We started our time together by stretching to avoid injuries. Then, we jogged two laps around the field. We explored the Earth's surface and air and wind that tied into our Science lessons. We enjoyed the beautiful fall weather.
New Game "Clap Catch". Team game involving which requires clapping hands just prior to catching a ball . . . FootRace around the perimeter of the Batt rear sports field, approximately 200 yards. Stretching/warm-up exercises before engaging in game activities.

During today's PE session with the Lower School students, a new game of "Clap Catch" was presented which involves coordination, timing, and concentration. All 3 students were very receptive to this game , gave good effort, and demonstrated acceptable sportsmanship.
We stretched to warm up. We took two laps around the field and traveled over, under, around, and through objects. We used the hula hoops and the punching bag.
We focused on moving our arms up and down. Then, we worked on kicking our feet up then down. After that, we worked on high knees up then down. Lastly, we went on a scavenger hunt for items we can enlarge with our magnifying glasses.
