Lucas seems a lot more confident on the court and in his shooting ability than he did even a few weeks ago. He's been working on his layups recently and the improvement is significant. After warming up and doing some practice shots, we played another few games of Double Bounce and had a great time. Lucas did really well recovering rebounds and made some great plays.
PJ and I spent the period talking about his summer plans.
He told me he is going to Italy for 2 weeks and then going to Michigan.
It has been a pleasure working with him this year and seeing the growth he has made.
Aiden and I spent our last period talking about his future summer plans.
He told me he will be volunteering at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
I think this will be a great opportunity for him.
Today, PJ and I continue to improve on our cardiovascular endurance and strength.
We started with an easy jog and finished with a dumbbell workout.
We finished with a cooldown and a stretch.
Aiden and I continued our workout from yesterday.
Today, in addition to the exercises we did yesterday, we added some different variations of push-ups and we also added T-stabilizers.
At the end, we did a complete body stretch.
Today, David did some total fitness exercises.
We started with some sprinting on the field in the back.
David was able to challenge another student in the 40-yard dash.
We then finished with a cool down and a full body stretch.
