Work with a timeline depicting surgical techniques and advancements in surgical instruments during the 19th-21st Century. Highlight and present key moments, along with Surgeons involved and their advancement.
Review articles and discuss highlighted paragraphs which deal with the historical development and uses of antiseptics since 1860. Place the work of Joseph Lister into the google docs to be part of the report. Discuss antibiotics, the differences between antibiotic use and antiseptic use.
Begin accumulating information dealing with the history and development of antiseptics. Research the grounbreaking work of a Joseph Lister and his use of carbolic acid which cut down surgical infections by about 90%
