Practice the letter sounds and symbols for specific letters. Review the digraphs on chart and looking at short words that start and end with them. Review the sight words for the week and then find the random words from the others. Practice short vowel words families. Read from Frog and Toad together. Write words on white board based on the sounds heard in each word.
Show the sight words said, my, & she. Look at pictures of short e words and write them on the white board and Libby then trace them. Practice correct letter formation. Read short e decodable book and practice sounding out words together.
Model researching a topic on how to find the opposite perspectives. List the positives and negatives that can be used in the essay. Begin to form a thesis statement.
