Andrew and I went in depth on electoral politics and how we elect a president. We discussed the fifty state popular votes and how states assign electoral votes. We reviewed presidential election history and discussed the electoral maps in 2020, 2024 and in the past in 1984-2000.
1st Amendment Review, Freedom of Religion and Expression

Andrew and I reviewed the previous day's discussion and also went in depth into conversation about 1st amendment and its application to internet privacy, access and speech. What rights if any do people online have? Does social media have a positive discourse or not? Can that discourse be restricted?
Andrew and I met for the first time. We discussed interest in politics and governance and picked up where Andrew left off. We studied the 1, 4 and 13th Amendments and the concept of the Bill of Rights.
S: Noah was seen at the Batt School for treatment. He was noted to be tired upon entry to session, but he was eager to work with the SLP after transition to classroom. O: Noah was asked to follow a variety of 1-2 step related directions. He completed the activity with 75% accuracy. Noah was then asked to sequence visuals related to a story read to him. He completed the activity with 70% accuracy. After, Noah answered mixed “wh” questions about a story read aloud to him given a field of 3 visual answer choices. He completed the activity with 70% accuracy. Then, Noah was asked to identify spatial concepts in a field of 3 answer choices. He completed the activity with 75% accuracy. Lastly, Noah completed a quantitative concept (e.g. all/none, more/less, one/many) activity with 68% accuracy. A: Increases as well as minor decreases displayed across POC goals. Decreases likely due to change in presentation mode of goal/increased difficulty of task. P: Continue with current POC. Monitor goals displaying decreases.
S: Noah was seen at the Batt School for treatment. He had difficulty with transitioning to session, as well as difficulty with redirection/self-regulation. It is noted that minimal data was taken during the session due to aforementioned difficulties. It is also noted that after regulating, Noah attempted to complete a task with SLP, but fell asleep. O: Noah was asked to follow a variety of 1-2 step related directions. He completed the activity with 10% accuracy. Noah then answered mixed “wh” questions about a story read to him given a field of 3 visual answer choices. He completed the activity with 30% accuracy. A: Data should be interpreted with caution due to difficulty with redirection/self-regulation throughout session and minimal data collection. P: Continue with current POC. Monitor goals displaying decreases.
Luke was seen in his room for a 45 minute occupational therapy treatment session. Focus of treatment was on improving his bilateral integration/hand usage, fine motor development, graphomotor skills, postural control and sensory processing/organization for improved general performance in various environments. Luke and OT listened to holiday music and painted a pictured canvas. Luke painted a picture of two avocadoes and OT painted a cup of hot chocolate to hang on Luke's wall. Hot chocolate is to remind him to practice his hot cocoa breathing when he starts to feel angry or frustrated. Luke was happy and participated well during his OT session today. Good session...
Richard was seen in his room for a 45 minute treatment session today. Focus of treatment was on improving fine motor skills (hand strength, grip strength, dexterity and manipulation), visual motor integration, ocular motor skills, and graphomotor skills/keyboarding as an alternate means to written communication. Participated in a variety of activities today with Richard during the holiday party. He was happy and participated well. Great session-
