Sophie took the Social Science section of the standardized test. Afterward she made vocabulary cards for chapter 7. I emailed Amy Taylor and Sara Salivar about Sophie's exam. Amy said that she could take it the second week of June. I am now looking for a firm date.
1. Sophie will be able to classify polynomials by degree and number of terms.
2. Sophie will be able to add polynomials.
3. Sophie will be able to subtract polymials.

Continued the handbuilding and image capture. The first pot broke after drying out too quickly between classes so we built a seond one, but smaller. Sophie seemed to enjoy this but didn't get too ambitious with her pieces.

Sophie wanted to make something out of clay so we used the instructional video project as the vehicle to let her make some handbuilt items. We took pictures of the process at various stages to use as images in the video project.
Sophie took her Science Sub-test during teh first part of class. She had a few problems with getting a good pencil which started us late. We did not have enough time to do the second test so we read Ch6 & 7 of Alejandro. I read most if it to her as she was very tired.

Sophie did a great job today. She was able to get through all three concepts today. Although she appeared tired she was able to get through the lesson.

Clint was out today and did not leave an assignment. Since Sophie was working on SAT testing during her math hour today, she took her Chapter 8 Algebra test during this time. Sophie received a grade of 96% on her test.
