Today we were able to get through sections 9-2 and 9-3, which will help us to catch up.
Sophie was late this morning after getting her braces off. We reviewed the lesson from last Thursday. Sophie was struggling with subtracting polynomials because of errors. I assigned a few extra problems for her to work on tonight.
Sophie and I discussed what happened in chapter 6 and then we worked on the chapter questions together.
We studied the word "subversive" (subvert too) and talked about how the Daughters of Mary might be considered subversive and by whom they might be considered subversive.
Sophie worked hard to finish her vocabulary and then worked on verbs gustar. This concept was a little bit challenging for her. We will work on this concept again.
We read through difficult parts of chapter 3. We identified tricky vocabulary (not much) and found areas that were harder to understand. We examined the religion of the Daughters of Mary and discussed why it might seem subversive.
