Sophie hates the book and frankly I feel that it's not very appropriate for a 9th grader. I will help her through it as much as posible. It's a pretty traumatic story with a horrible rape of a little boy that is shown over and over again.
Sophie and I finished talking about macromolecules and organelles, and put all the peices together into full complete cells.

Sophie was rather preoccupied with a history essay, so we spent a few minutes on getting her introduction down before creating the wordpress account. She didn't seem too eager to create a photo blog so perhaps she'll just delete it when we're done. But until then it will serve as a good example of a combination of computer literacy skills made practical.
