We completed the film Simon Birch to set a base of pre-reading for the long novel Owen Meaney. We also reviewed the themes presented in the film and novel, specifically the role of Religion in the solid and wavering characters of Simon and Joe(John).

We adjusted Sophie's audio book reader and tested files. We also reviewed the English topics she should be aware of when reading/listening to the book in preparation for her test in August.
Sophie and I finished her review packet. I made sure that everything in the packet was exactly how and what I wanted her to know about the subjects so that she could study efficiently. WE went through the whole packet, and she was given the last half an hour of class to study for her final tomorrow and also to work on some extra credit for the test.
