We practiced identifying the tens and ones place values. Then we practiced identifying the written form of numbers from 10 to 100 and matching them with the numerical, standard form.
We reviewed the fact that to add or subtract a fraction they must have a common denominator. We practiced adding 2 to 3 fractions by finding a common denominator. We tried to find the least common multiple shared between the denominators. We discovered that if we multiply the denominators that will also be a common multiple but not necessarily the least common multiple. Then we practiced subtracting fractions which also requires a common denominator.
7.3 Count Collections – We practiced lining up coins from the greatest value to the least value. Then we practiced finding the sum of change in the form of dimes, nickels, quarters, and pennies.
7.2 quarters – We practiced identifying coins. We learned the monetary value of a quarter. Then we practiced adding change including 1 to 4 quarters to find the total.
