We learned about key words to look for in word problems to determine whether you need to add or subtract. We added and subtracted 10 from 2-digit numbers. Then we practiced subtracting single digits from numbers up to 100. We completed a school assignment of adding 4’s to numbers too.
We learned how to write fractions in simplest form by dividing the numerator and denominator by their greatest common factor. Then we wrote decimals as fractions in simplest form.
7.4 Show Amounts in Two Ways – We learned to show an amount of change in several different ways with different coins. Then we modeled word problems two different ways with different combinations of coins.

We practiced identifying how many hundreds, tens, and ones in each place value. Then we practiced ordering numbers from least to greatest. We practiced adding 10 and one and subtracting 10 and one from several members. We wrote numbers in expanded form and practiced counting by fives and tens to 100 too.
