6.2 Break Apart 3-Digit Addends – We practiced adding three digits to three digits regrouping the ones as needed. We used modeling of the hundreds as well as the tens and ones to find the sum.
We worked on adding fractions. We practiced finding a common denominator 2 different ways. We prefer the method that gives us smaller numbers so there is less possibility of error. We experimented with working the whiteboard.
