1-7 Absolute Value Equations and Inequalities – We practiced the steps to find a solution to an absolute value equation. Then we reviewed for a test on Topic 1 Solving Equations and Inequalities.
We went over the homework from Monday.
1-7 Absolute Value Equations and Inequalities – We reviewed the steps to find a solution to an absolute value equation. The answer has two solutions, one positive and one negative, or if there is no value of x that makes the absolute value equation true, it has no solution.
Assignment: For homework complete assigned problems.
Solving inequalities and compound inequalities in One Variable – We reviewed the rules for solving inequalities. When you divide or multiply by a negative integer you change the direction of the inequality symbol. Next we solved and graphed several inequalities and compound inequalities.
Assignment: For homework complete problems: P.41 16, 18, 20, 22
We reviewed the steps on how to solve algebraic inequalities to determine whether there is one, infinitely many, or no solution.
Assignment: For homework complete the assigned problem without using a calculator or the Internet.
Andrew and I went over a take-home quiz, very worthwhile. We found several terms and procedures that he had not fully understood. Very valuable session.

Continue chapter 7 and review what we covered in the test review.
We reviewed the rules on solving algebraic equations with fractions and variables on both sides. Then I completed many examples utilizing the steps to solve algebraic equations with fractions. Next Bella completed some examples utilizing these concepts to solve this type of equation.
Assignment: For homework complete the assigned problems without using a calculator or the Internet.
