1-4 Literal Equations and Formulas – We learned that literal equations are equations with two or more variables. They are solved by rewriting the equation to highlight the variable of interest. Next we learned to use formulas and equations to solve problems.
Assignment: For homework complete assigned problems.

It seems that we are going too fast . We will drop back and review some preliminary skills on fractions...

Class went well. Making good progress to catch up. We should be in good position to finish by the end of the semester.

I tested Andrew to determine his place in algebra. We then covered vocabulary and did some calculation. He is enthusiastic about learning and a pleasure to teach.
