4-5 Systems of Linear Inequalities – We combined the understanding of systems of linear equations and the graphing of linear inequalities to solve systems of linear inequalities on the same coordinate plane. We discovered that the overlapping region is the solution. We also learned to write systems of inequalities by analyzing a graph.

We will review the three forms for the equation of a line. We will reverse the process and find the equation of a line from its graph. We will use two points on the line to find the slope and then solve for the y-intercept. We will do several practice problems and check our answers by drawing a graph.
