I am subbing for Ms. Nicole Fertig for biology. She sent work after the class was finished. Ms. Teresa Korbely was able to give him Algebra I work to complete.
Volume: Prisms and Cylinders – We practiced finding the volume of prisms, pyramids, and cylinders. As in the formulas for surface areas we used B to represent the area of a base in formulas for volumes. The formula V = Bh covers all of the possibilities of base shapes for prisms and cylinders. Next we practiced finding surface area for pyramids, cones, and prisms. Since the bases of prisms are various polygons, we use B to represent the area of any base in the general formula SA = LA + 2B.
Review Topic 9 Solving Quadratic Equations. Cameron completed most of the problems on the practice test on Topic 9 that I sent home last night in class.
