Review Topic 9 Solving Quadratic Equations. It is important that Cameron does the take home practice test on Topic 9 so we can go over the concepts he needs to practice.
Calculating Volume of Cones and Pyramids – We practiced calculating the area of rectangular and triangular pyramids. Then we calculated the volume of several conical three-dimensional shapes. Next we solved for the height of a cone knowing the volume and radius.
Cameron practiced plotting a linear and a quadratic equation to identify the number of solutions from where the line crossed the parabola. Then he practiced elimination to find the coordinates algebraically. There are a few steps to finding the solutions so Cameron will need to practice on his own. It is important for Cameron to complete the following homework assignment in order for him to do well on the quiz from this lesson and test from this topic.
