We are still on the topic of The Conversation of Linear Momentum. We continued into the concept of elastic and inelastic collisions and whether momentum or kinetic energy is conserved.
We went over the problems from last week's homework (relationships between variables in formulas and impulse-momentum theorem). Then, we started to talk about the Conservation of Linear Momentum with a sample problem.
Homework: Practice D, pg 209
We went through the Impulse-Momentum Theorem and practice problems using it. We also talked about the relationship between variables in a formula and a direct and inverse relationship.
