Lesson Outline
Ben and I read part of a book. As we read, we pointed out the use of masculine articles. We discussed words like grande, invierno, otono, verano, primavera.

The seasons are words that we covered in our preliminary chapter.

When we read them today, I asked Ben if those words looked familiar at all to him. He stated that they did not.

We then reviewed the 2nd section of vocabulary from the 1st chapter. We answered Spanish questions with Spanish sentences.

Ben seemed to struggle today more than he did last week. But, together, we did answer a number of questions.

Lesson Comments
After having two wonderful classes with Ben last week, today he seemed more on edge.

He stated that he was tired.

After completing half of our lesson, I gave him a 4 minute break. He put his head down.

He fell asleep deep enough where he could be heard snoring (breathing loudly). I tried to wake him when the 4 min timer expired.

It took me another 3 minutes to wake him.

We conducted the remainder of the class outside.

Lesson Outline
David finished his test today.

He was able to work from not understanding some of the questions to being able to respond with the correct answer on the page.

This shows some good effort on his part. We want him to study more rigorously so that he does not have to exert so much effort with the problems.

We read a book that used many of his vocabulary words from this chapter.
