He completed two workbook activities where he had to trace the numbers and find the correct number. In this activity, he was able to identify the numbers in Spanish from zero to one hundred.
Matthew and I continued our discussion of the geography of Spain.
In this session he was responsible for using the information acquired in our last class to answer a series of questions.
We paid particular attention to using the source material as a source for expressing ideas (especially new ones) in a manner that is both accurate and grammatically correct.
We also discussed how this year, expectations would continue to increase. He enthusiastically embraced the challenge.

It was fun to teach Matthew again.
His personal desire to excel in Spanish is incredibly rewarding.
Sam was to learn about the intricacies of singular and plural in Spanish. We were to practice making each appropriate element in Spanish sentences plural or singular as required.
Reviewing the vocabulary of La Familia, today he created some questions like Cuantos anos tiene tu tio? (How old is your uncle), and he included all the members of his family reinforcing numbers and vocabulary.
We reviewed the vocabulary of family members and he created some sentences with the verb "Tener" To have. For grammar, we conjugated that verb and he was able to identify the difference between Tener and Querer in Spanish.
Today we began to learn about family members. What are the different ways of naming them in Spanish. Also, after learning that vocabulary, we read about the importance of "La Familia" to the Latin culture.
Today we worked on the difference between definite articles and indefinite articles in Spanish. He completed one activity and we watched a video about articles and their rules.
