Rowan did not do the reading for today. He's been having trouble with homework lately. We talked about it and he agreed to focus on reading the homework. I gave him the next vocabulary list and for some reason he had a lot of trouble focusing. It took us the full 45 minutes to get through the list. For some reason, he doubted his spelling and stopped to check almost every word, even the obvious ones.

Rowan is doing a very good job with this book. He's having a little trouble focusing when we're reading and keeps jumping off topic. But he's great during our discussions. I think he's getting a lot out of this book.
