Writing addition sentences worksheet with cubes. Reviewed the words: as , a, and, is, it, in, on, my. Introduced 'by' and created sentences with 'by'. Read sentence strips using all these words. Time For Kids: Too Much Sugar -read article about how much sugar we eat in America - answered questions about a graph showing how much sugar is in a variety of drinks. Introduced the words dextrose and corn syrup - looked at food labels to find out how much sugar is in each product.
Calendar - Medial vowel worksheet, reviewed sight word 'my' - added it to our high frequency word list on the dragon board game, then played the game. Read 'my' phrases on kidsread.com. spelling my dog, my cat, Algebra problems with cars and legos, worksheet filling in missing addend, equal sign or sum.
