During today's session, we have learned the anatomy of the ureter, bladder and urethra.

Discussion on the secretion and effect of prolactin, the lactation hormone, on the maintenance of milk production within the mammary glands.
The anatomy and function of the follicles within the ovaries, the maturation of the ova, and the release during ovulation, carried out through the action of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). The stimulation of estrogen production in the female and the stimulation of sperm production in the male, all due to FSH production.
The conversion of the follicle into the corpus leuteum and the secretion of progesterone in the female and testosterone in the male.

During today's class, we have continued working on the Urinary System and learned about the anatomy of the kidneys.

Effect of the hypothalamus in producing releasing hormones and their effect on the tropic hormones produced by the anterior pituitary gland.
Thyroid releasing hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone, and the effect of thyroid hormone are discussed. Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism effects seen in images and photos.
