Differentiate between the type of response seen in the nervous system and the response in the endocrine system.
Describe the secretions as hormones and the glands as ductless.
Hormones are secreted into the capillary beds surrounding the glands.
Define "target organs" and use examples to show the effect is widespread to all cells and tissue.
Using a series of "patients" with varying endocrine disorders, derive the function(s) performed by the glands.

Today, we have continued learning how vaccines work and how the bone marrow produces white blood cells. Lena seemed enthusiastic and enjoyed the class.
