Patterns
Lesson Outline
We enjoyed making musical sounds using different instruments. Alexandra enjoyed experimenting with different instruments, some of which were new and unfamiliar to her, such as an energy chime trio that emits three powerful and pure tones and is used to help children better maintain focus. Alexandra was prompted to replicate the pattern of sounds that I first made using a pair of bells, and she clearly very much enjoyed the activity. She also identified different animals on a cow bell instrument, and the activity elicited tons of giggles. We finished our time together viewing a Rudolf video, and singing the song together using the bells and instruments with which to add seasonal effects
