Subtraction and Addition: Danny did well subtracting single digits and adding single digits. He is improving in sign recognition, plus and minus. Danny uses fingers or objects like balloons to count for answers. Sometimes he says take away for the - sign. Great going, Danny.
Subtractions: Danny practiced subtraction and addition today. He is becoming more independent, finding answers, as we practice each lesson. I am so proud of him.
Subtraction: Danny is doing better with subtraction. I use the word "take away" for minus signs and he gets it. We also had fun working with math logic games. Great going, Danny.
Subtraction: Danny did very well with subtraction. He uses fingers or manipulatives, as needed to subtract. He is shown to say the top number, then "take away" for the bottom number. He is still working on this process. Great job, Danny.
Subtraction: Danny was given single digit problems today to subtract, he did well with assistance. Example: 5 - 3 = 2. He is given objects to count and take away, as needed. Good going, Danny.
Subtraction: Danny did well subtracting today. I used the words " take away" to explain subtraction. He does it by counting the number of circles or marks taken away from the original number. Great going, Danny.
Counting by 10's and 1's to 100, and subtraction: Danny did a good job practicing counting to 100 by 1's. He also did well with subtraction, using manipulatives. Great going, Danny.
Ordinal Numbers and Addition: Danny was at his best today adding and appropiately using ordinal numbers. He added single digits saying the highest number first then counting to add the smaller number. Example: 7 + 3 =10. Say 7, then count 8,9,10. He did a super job pronouncing and identifiying ordinal positions of tigers, lions, and bears in line, first, second, third...
Danny did a good job today.
