Today Gracyn took her final kindergarten spelling test. I asked her to spell words that we had learned over the school year. She did wonderfully! Her bonus word was 'holiday' which she thought was awesome! How many kids have last names similar to their spelling bonus word!? Today is the last day of school! I promised her a fun day! She made her Father's Day card. She took her time and wrote out beautiful sentences about her dad. Then her mom helped her hide the card! She is so excited for summer!

Today Gracyn and I skyped from our houses! She thought it was so silly! She started off her day writing her spelling words once each. Then we completed her morning work together. In writing she wrote about what she loves to do at the beach. Her sentence was "At the beach I love to ride the waves. It is so much fun." Next we read a poem about Memorial Day and she colored a picture of the American Flag. In reading she read two level E stories on Raz Kids. In science we watched a Magic School Bus video on the digestive system. It was very interesting!
