Arianna and I read Pinkalicious and the Valentine today. Then she read me three stories on Raz Kids. The last story (which was a new story) was about a city. She then drew and labeled a picture of a city full of tall buildings. Next we watched our fun counting to 100 video songs.

She was very sleepy today. Our session was about 30 minutes long. Mom said she just woke up and started late and then she ended early as she was sleepy.
Today Gracyn wrote her new spelling words one time each. Then I read her a cute Pinkalicious story about Valentines Day. Next she completed her morning work. We watched a short clip on Memorial Day and she wrote about why we celebrate Memorial Day: to remember the soldiers! Then we completed a fun Memorial Day Graphing activity together. In science we watched Magic School Bus videos on gravity and the immune system. Then she read me a level E story in Raz Kids. She is doing great decoding words she doesn't know.
We began our day with the story "The 12 Dancing Princesses". Arianna loved this fairytale! Next she read me a story on Raz Kids called "Orange". Then she drew a picture of things that are orange. She labeled the picture. We watched and sang along to some of our counting videos and then ended our time watching Go Noodle. Many teachers and Ms. Judie joined in on the fun!
Today I read aloud "The 12 Dancing Princesses". Gracyn wrote a literary response after hearing the story. She really enjoyed the story. Next she took her spelling test. I was so proud of her. She sounded out the words she didn't know and got them all right, another 100%! She completed her morning work and then wrote a descriptive sentence using adjectives. She read a Raz Kids story aloud.
Arianna and I read "I Know an Old Monkey Who Swallowed a Frog". She LOVED this story and giggled throughout. Then she read me a story about Baseball. She drew a picture of herself playing baseball (with a Cardinal hat of course). Then she labeled her picture. We watched beginning sound and counting song videos. We ended our time dancing!
Today Gracyn completed her morning work. In writing she wrote three good quality sentences about her dad. She also drew a beautiful picture (including his beard) to share with him. We watched a Magic School Bus video "The Big Stink" (all about noses). She loves these videos and she learns a lot. In reading she read a level E reader on Raz Kids.
Today Arianna and I read "Arthur's Birthday Surprise". She enjoyed predicting what the surprise might be! Then she read me a story on Raz Kids called "Blue". Then she drew something blue...the ocean! She drew herself swimming in the ocean. Next we watched our favorite counting and rhyming songs on you tube together. Of course we ended our session dancing to Go Noodle!
Gracyn and I watched a cute movie on turtles. We are continuing our lessons on the ocean. She loves turtles! We are lucky living so close to the ocean and we are able to see sea turtles burry their eggs in the sand. Next she read me a level E book on Raz Kids about animals that live on the farm. She is doing great blending words and decoding the words she doesn't know!
Today I read Gracyn "So you want to be President". It was a funny story about all of the different presidents we have had and their likes and dislikes. Gracyn wrote her spelling words and completed her morning work. To go along with the reading this morning she wrote one thing she would do if she was president.
Arianna and I read a "I Know and Old Lady Who Swallowed a Book". She loved this story and joined in on the rhyming. Next she read me a story on Raz Kids about Pets. Then she drew a picture of a pet cat and labeled the picture. We watched our phonemic awareness video and zero the hero. She also got to share her favorite dance videos with Ms. Judie!
