He will be missing school tomorrow, so we went over the Law of Cosines (the topic that will be covered in class). Then, there are formulas to find the area of a triangle, one being Heron's formula (when you cannot solve for the base and height simply). I showed him a few examples, then had him do several practice problems.

Declan had trouble with Power Reducing Identities, Half Angle and Double Angle Identities. So, I showed him how to prove these specific types of problems with examples. Then, he did a few problems.

He was graphing inverse trig functions, so we completed his homework to learn and practice concept.

Introduction to trigonometry, right triangle trig, the unit circle, and angle of elevation. I first showed him how to approach and problem using the concepts and then had him do some practice problems.

We did several problems from his final review packet given by his teacher.

Introduction to other units used for angles (degrees, minutes, seconds, radians), arc length, linear and angular speed.

Introduction to exponential and logarithmic functions, one-to-one property, definition of log functions, change of base formula.
