Visit to Florida Atlantic University - Engineering campus in Boca Raton

We visited part of the campus,participated in a FAU main library guided tour, and Visited the Engineering School.
Highest value of the visit was an extensive conversation with a Biomedical Engineering Master's program student. We discussed Biomedical Engineering topics, trends, curriculum subjects, Engineering school culture, University culture, attitudes, challenges, student psychology. Vladimir had previously visited other famous University campuses. He got very involved and interested in learning from the experience. Vlad showed he is up to date on much of the current news.

I am constantly reminding students to take notes on explanations as they don't remember concepts for future reference.
Skype remote class with Jackson had no problems with the camera but it was a total failure with the shared screen. I already suggested Kelli to try a different software to fix that issue. There are many options, GoToMeeting seems to be a free optimal option. It has a monthly fee depending on the requirements
Intro and motivation for Raspberry Pi processor projects

The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer that plugs into the TV or monitor and a keyboard and/or mouse. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects, and for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word processing, browsing the internet, and playing games. It supports different Operating Systems and its low power consumption makes it ideal for portability. The proposed model includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Initially it will be used to show small simple projects that students will be able to execute and it will also help for next stages in the course when applying programming skills.
