Georgia did a great job today. She enjoyed practicing her multiplication facts on the computer. We reviewed the concepts that I introduced on Tuesday and Georgia was able to recall all of the material. We then practiced some percent to decimal/fraction and decimal to percent conversions. In order to show Georgia how this concept applies to real life, we practiced setting up the correct proportion for solving percentage word problems.

Georgia and I spent today getting to know each other and discussing her feelings about math in general. We discussed what we will try to accomplish with this course and how we will accomplish those goals. Georgia was very receptive and easy to talk to so I feel that we established a good working relationship.
