Sixteenth note hi-hat ride patterns; Paralyzer intro, main groove and accented sixteenth note snare drum fill, and began charting a new song: Headstrong by Trapt.
Lesson Outline
Played through the 12 bar exercise to further support the work we did in the sixteenth note hi-hat accenting unit. We moved into the next unit that deals with variations on the hi-hat accenting exercises. We also worked on the accented snare drum fill coming out of the verse to Paralyzer.

Practice Paralyzer and the sixteenth note hi-hat accent exercises from Realistic Rock.

Great playing. All of the elements of timing and rhythm are starting to come together for Devin. He is playing the first part of Paralyzer extremely well. I am really excited for him to start playing along to more pre-recorded music.
