Good session. The end is definitely near. Ashley was only moderately interested.

I told Ashley that if she gave me a good last week of effort that we would watch the movie Troy. She's really tried over the last two weeks and I think she's earned it. What I was very pleased by was how much of the story and characters Ashley remembers. She was quick to point out the slight changes in the story and got excited when each new character was introduced.

Ashley decided not to finish the exam or check any answers.

Ashley was prepared for class today and we had a good conversation about the events leading up to Hector's death. It's taken awhile, but she's actually really into the story now. Her reading has improved a great deal and she's taking notes on each stanza. I'm very pleased with her progress.

Ashley was minimally interested in the lesson. I briefly mentioned the Newtown tragedy. Ashley was not inclined to talk about the matter.

Ashley may finish the exam on tues.

Good session. Ashley was focused and able to recall our discussions from last week.

Ashley almost had a perfect week, but did not do the reading for today. We talked briefly about the material yesterday, finishing our conversation about Achilles' shield and what it represents. I then had her read the homework in class.
