I had her do some problems from her homework assignment that she did not complete this weekend. Writing an equation in point slope form, graphing the equation and then manipulating the equation to put it in slope intercept form.
use youtube videos which illustrate some chemical tricks which depend on the acidity or alkalinity of different substances and the colors they will change an indicator into. This involves a lot of "kitchen" chemistry.
Also view a video which enforces the chemistry behind what makes a substance an acid or a base.
