We reviewed all the trig identities that we've studied and worked a number of review problems in which we manipulated equations and proved that they are identities.
We basically re-capped the material that we (unsuccessfully) tried to go through via Skype-and-cellphone for the last two days. We reviewed the Tangent and Pythagorean Identities and used their combination to find other identities. We also went over a graphing problem in which we used tidal data from the newspaper to graph the water depth off Juno Beach Pier as a function of time.

Sophia was here. Her attitude seemed distraction-free and fine.
Good review. We could have done the exam on Monday, but Sophia asked me for one more review session before the test. So Monday we will do the last review and Wednesday she'll have the test.
Surprisingly, the class went pretty well. I was able to have her on Skype 3 times (4 minutes, 25 minutes and 20 minutes). She was much better than yesterday. Although the review went well, I will do one more review tomorrow in the classroom, and the final exam will be moved to Monday.
We never got there. Skype connection was garbled to non existent.

The 60 minutes may be the total time connected in a 120-minute session. But there was virtually no useful instructional time. The Skype connection was difficult to establish and even more difficult to maintain. Class was scheduled to start at 9 a.m. We connected around 9:25. The call was dropped about 12 minutes later and it probably took another 20 minutes to re-connect. At no time could we use the Elmo. And so it went. There is something going on here.
