We started by comparing degrees and radians. We used the graphing calculators to graph the sine function and characteristics. A periodic function. We explored periodic events in nature--motion of the moon about the earth, the tides, waves, etc. Exploring the sine function more closely, we found its period to be 2 x Pi radians, its domain all real numbers and its range between positive and negative 1, inclusive.

We discussed a general review of using division techniques as a beginning to factoring a polynomial as far as possible. We did this after estimating how many days (29) Sophia has left before she finishes.
