Poor Jackson was not feeling well today (he got his wisdom teeth taken out yesterday). I know it was difficult for him to concentrate on the Stanford Test (especially math and science). If he has time Friday, when he is done with the test, I will have him look over some of those problems again.
Jackson decided to make a change related to the presentation aspect of the assignment. He is making a booklet, instead of a poster board. The new format is much cleaner and more appealing. He made a great decision related to the change. We worked on paraphrasing information and citing sources today.

Jackson made a good decision related to changing the presentation aspect of the project. He is making a booklet instead of a poster board. The visual is more appealing and neat. We continued to work on paraphrasing and citing all sources (visual/text).
Jackson continued taking notes from his source material for his paper on the JFK assassination. He is learning how to match his notes with his outline so he can sort them when he is ready to write the paper.
Intro and motivation for Raspberry Pi processor projects
Lesson Outline
Jackson was absent for the class but he will be updated and instructed via skype to work with this tool.
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer that plugs into the TV or monitor and a keyboard and/or mouse. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects, and for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word processing, browsing the internet, and playing games. It supports different Operating Systems and its low power consumption makes it ideal for portability. The proposed model includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Initially it will be used to show small simple projects that students will be able to execute and it will also help for next stages in the course when applying programming skills.
