The students did a good job today. We have not had Spanish for 5 weeks due to spring break and my absences. They had a hard time recalling the vocabulary but we practiced it over and over. They were very excited to travel.
Stephen absent. Calendar, Printing 1- 5 on primary paper. Anna/Quinn reviewed all sight words, introduced 'of' and 'off'. Sight word worksheet. Oliver blending two letters to form nonsense words, printing initial sound of object, Anna: read SRA booklet - Quinn was too sick to do any work in the afternoon. Math: two-step patterns - used beads, plastic bears. Science - Exploring Matter - observed ducks made from various materials - discussed natural raw material and man-made processed material.
