4-3 Prime Factorization and Greatest Common Factor – We learned to find the prime factorization of a number by using a factor tree. Then we learned to find the greatest common factor or GCF of 2 or more numbers.

4-2 Exponents – We learned to use exponents and the order of operations with exponents. An exponent is a number placed to the upper right of a base number. Then we learned that if an exponent has as its base and expression involving addition or subtraction the whole expression must be written inside parentheses.

4-1 Divisibility and Factors – PJ practiced 2 by 2-digit multiplication. Then we went over the homework problems that PJ missed. He recalculated the answers showing his work.
