We did section 5.1, on simplfying, factoring, and adding and subtracting trig expressions using trig identities.

We were going to start section 5.1 on Trig identities, but she came in late today and we didn't have enough time.

Ashley was timed during three different SAT verbal sections in preparation for her 3rd attempt on the SAT. After getting a better sense of her strengths and weaknesses, I reviewed SAT grammar with her (commas, semi-colons, colons, etc.).

Ashley and I reviewed/revised her first draft of her Oscar Wao paper, adding and subtracting items when necessary. She received feedback on how to construct a well developed thesis statement, how to transition into different paragraphs with a transitional phrase/topic sentence, as well as how to structure/analyze her quotes.
