Ashley and I spent today's class period discussing Oscar Wao as comprehensively as possible (final thoughts, favorite parts, etc.) Our class activity included pitching Oscar Wao to parents (discussing its pros/cons) for an English Honors class. In our latter lesson Ashley and I examined different works to read for the remainder of our semester.

Making solutions with the same molarity. Checking their conductivity. Complete the conclusion.
Project for Halloween: chemical formula in witch pot. Review the polyatomic ions and thir ionic charges.

Review the vocabulary.
Test-covalemt bond.

Determine the type of chemical bond using the electronegativity
values. Polar and nonpolar molecules. Molecular polarity.Electronegativity and bond character.Solubylity of polar moleculs. Practice to predict the type of the bond.

Ashley and I worked on developing her 4 page Oscar Wao paper (introduction and points of discussion). We also read the last chapter of Oscar Wao together, discussing the death of our protagonist in relation to the bigger themes within the novel.

Ashley had a sore shoulder from the weekend, so we concentrated on relieving shoulder pain during our yoga practice. We did some stretches on the ball at the end of class. Intro to belly dancing, which we will start on Wednesday.
