Elle was absent.

Today we completed a Christmas stocking.

Elle learned how to pin the fabric pieces together for the t-shirt and then we began to sew them.

Today, we cut the sleeves out of the material and put them together.

Today, Elle learned to attach a sleeve on a top. She also learned different finishes.

Elle pinned the fabric to the pattern we made last week and we cut it out.

Today we learned to thread the needle on the sewing machine. Elle is learning to match the material. She is a little afraid of the needles.

Today we cut a small piece of material into a square and then cut it into a triangle. Elle is learning different ways to sew various pattens together.

Today, I used newspaper to show Elle how to make a pattern. I took the measurements of Elle's body and she learned how to make a new t-shirt pattern. She was very engaged today and did a great job!

Today we cut some fabric into shapes. We practiced angles and sewed a little purse.
