Elle was absent today. I planned future projects.

Today we made a little bag by cutting squares and sewing them together.

Today we cut the material into 8x8 squares and sewed them together.

Today we did some drawing in her notebook. We designed fashions. We cut out material and did some sewing.

Today we put the sewing machine together and continued learning to sew lines.

Today we changed the pattern, pinned and cut out the skirt. We then sewed the skirt.

Elle pinned the two sides of her skirt together. We sewed the elastic onto the waist and then we hemmed the skirt.

Today we changed the foot on the sewing machine to the zipper foot. With a needle and thread we basted the zipper onto the skirt and then we sewed it with the sewing machine. Elle is doing well!

Today we practiced cutting and made a tiny practice skirt.

Today we cut some strips of material to make a head band. Elle also learned how to take measurements and use them to make a skirt pattern. We used the pattern to cut out a skirt.
