Michael is definitely having a harder time focusing now that his time with us is drawing to a close. He's much more distracted while we read and keeps getting up randomly to go to the bathroom. Consequently, he's having a lot of difficulty reading the material and keeping his place.

Michael didn't do any reading while he was gone and I was shocked by how little of the play he remembered after only two days. I've talked to him many times about making notes of the material we cover to help him remember, but he doesn't seem to want to do it.

1)Read and Track Progression of narrative in Part 1 of "The Monkey's Paw." Michael is asked to give an account of the event happenings for every other paragraph in the work, and takes subsequent notes for material retention.

Michael did really well today. He struggled on his homework because the equations required him to add and subtract fractions (he knows both concepts but has trouble putting them together). The problems I assigned in class today had no fractions, and he did really well.
1) Continue Reading Part 2 of "The Monkey's Paw," taking notes on the progression of the narrative and characters.
2) Write another paragraph for Description Essay
