Mary was back today…her old sweet self. I suggested that she work on her essay and then we might have some time for discussion. I gave her a copy of her essay with my tracking changes. She rewrote with some guided discussion. She was thinking hard and plugged in.
She had some wonderful ideas about what to do next. She is engaged again.
