Baylie and I worked to prepare her for her final exam.
We worked on a quizlet that her teacher provided. While this quizlet dealt primarily with vocabulary, as appropriate, I would verify that Baylie remembered the concepts and principles that went along with the vocabulary words.
Baylie decided to interview me for a science project that she must complete.
We filmed two videos of her interviewing me. For one of the videos, we prepared a series of visual aids to help illustrate my answers to the questions that she asked me.
For the second video, Baylie thought it would be fun and genuine if she did not review the questions with me before the interview.
She did a wonderful job with both interviews. They should be good material for her project.
Baylie started the class working in a quizlet. This was the start of our quick pre-test study session. We then looked quickly at major topics attempting to predict what other information may be presented on the test.
She then took her science test. She did a fantastic job on the test overall. However, she did stumble slightly on the paragraph portion as she had misremembered the difference between a transversal wave and a longitudinal wave. She just reversed them in her head.
After she completed her test, I did let her know of the mix-up. Overall though, she did an amazing job.
Baylie and I discussed the Electromagnetic Spectrum. She worked on a quizlet. She performed not just one of the study functions of the software, but all of the facets available to us.
We then did a test recording for the documentary project to augment our chances of success on the day that we need to record.
Baylie and I continued our discussion and planning of her Documentary Project. She has had some fun and engaging ideas that I believe will help her to earn a good grade.
Baylie was assigned a documentary end-of-year project. We read over the details of the assignment carefully. We drafted some questions that she could ask in her interview as well as discuss possible video formats.
We downloaded the required software. Baylie was given time to practice navigating this new software.
Baylie and I started with urgency with a review for her quiz.
She then took the quiz. She really had the information for this quiz locked into her brain. She took the quiz quickly and confidently. As per our protocol, she did look the quiz over one more time even though it is not needed at all (this time).
We then completed the assigned reading and took notes on the section.
We continued working on forming and moving barre chords. We also continued working on playing the lead intro to I'm Yours while simultaneously playing the rhythm part.
