Morgan rehearsed the dance for tonight's talent show in the exact location of the performance. She was made aware of the audience's location and the amount of space available for her dance. We also practiced walking on and off the stage area and her bow for the audience. Morgan helped choreograph most of the dance, has practiced daily, and is very excited for her performance tonight.
10-4 Graphing Linear Equations – We reviewed the steps for graphing a linear equation using two points or the slope intercept form of an equation. Then we reviewed how to find the X and Y intercepts or slope of an equation in standard form.
This morning Morgan took her spelling list 11 quiz. This list included words such as vigilant, vivacious, and vulnerability. She scored an 85%, missing three words. Her test was presented as three choices for each word and she circled the correct spelling. Next, Morgan worked to proofread and edit a Bible verse. She did a great job adding necessary punctuation and correcting spelling mistakes. We reviewed the correct version of the verse and added corrections to areas she had missed.
Finally, Morgan completed her independent math homework from yesterday that had not been done due to traveling. We checked her work and marked a few questions where additional support is needed during her math session. Morgan was reminded to reduce her fractions and to make sure she is writing “x” or “y” next to the fraction – not as part of the denominator.
Review slope intercept equation and correct the questions.
Take notes on chapter 9.1 in science and answer the review questions.

I showed Morgan how to rewrite the equations in slope intercept form to help her correct her mistakes.
She completed her notes for chapter 9.1 in science and started the review questions.
Morgan copied her Bible Verse in her notebook.
We discussed the importance of following God's commands vs the legalistic rules of the Church and we related it to real life (e.g.; the importance of being friendly, but also discerning in her daily life.
Following laws will not save us whereas believing in Christ will.
Christians are free to live by the love of law not the law of Moses. Faith toward Christ is shown in love and a life that lives by the Holy Spirit who glorifies God.
We also discussed how we can incorporate the teachings of Christ into our everyday lives verses following laws.
